Bob came out to inspect our almost 60 year old AC unit. Wrote a reasonable proposal. The work was started within 3 days. All of the team replacing the AC unit, Frank, Anthony, AJ, and Jason were very prompt, knowledgeable, and professional. Had the old unit out and the new installed in 2 days. Thanks.
We have used Merts for all of our HVAC needs since we bought our house almost 17 years ago, and my grandparents used them for many years before that! All of the equipment in my home was installed by Merts and has been maintained by them, including the recent purchase of a new furnace (in December they got the furnace in immediately!). I must say they are a wonderful company, with great employees. They are prompt, efficient, respectful and address all our needs and questions. My mom is on oxygen 24/7 and I feel that they go out of their way to make sure she is taken care of properly. I have to say I will never have another company address any of our HVAC needs! Thank you Merts and all of your staff for being such a great company!
Merts does good work,However, when they sole me a furnace capacitor I was told the capacitor cost $113.00.The same capacitor cost $11.65 online.
Paid $90 for them to come out and say they would look for a part. They would return my calls for 3 weeks. When I complained I wanted my money back if they weren't going to help me. So the owner text me and told me my heater was obsolete and they would replace it for $2500. That was my only option at this point.
Don't know about their work. Only can comment on one of their worker's driving. Watch out. He doesn't believe you have to yield right of way when coming out of parking lot onto a major street. VERY DANGEROUS. Yet he'll blame that you were speeding.
